My SaaS is called GetMyPermit. We help new drivers get their licenses.

We launched in May 2025, and this past week was our first $100-a-day week.

Our Stripe dashboard

This adds up to about $3,000 in monthly revenue. Our growth has come mainly from our UGC marketing campaign, and we’ve now passed 10,000 users.

Our KPIs Retool dashboard

Our first batch of creators included three people hired for four weeks at $20 per video, posting 3–5 videos per week.

On average, they posted four videos weekly, which totaled $320 per creator.

Since we worked with three creators, we spent $960 on our first campaign.

UGC creators

Our top performer in this batch was Noha (@noha.driverslicense). Her best video reached 250k views.

Now, she averages 100k views per post, which roughly translates to our $100-a-day revenue streak.

The other two creators did a good job, but their accounts didn’t perform as well. Their views weren’t sustainable, and they cost more than they generated, so we won’t renew their contracts.

All three creators were recruited through SideShift, which base plan costs $199 per month for posting UGC job listings.

Our new trial-period deal

Next week marks the end of this batch, and we’ll launch a new trial-period deal based on what we learned.

We’ll hire six creators for two weeks, paying $10 per video and asking for about four posts per week.

We’ll no longer offer monthly retainers. Keeping underperforming creators for four weeks drained cash.

If a creator averages under 10k views per video, paying $20 per post makes no sense: it’s a 20x loss.

Here’s a summary of our new deal:

This new model cuts our marketing spend by 50%, down to $480, while doubling the number of test accounts.

If a creator underperforms, we’ll move on after two weeks instead of four. If they perform well, we’ll raise their base pay and offer bonuses, longer contracts, and affiliate links.

The goal is simple: spend less, test more, and keep the winners.

We’re okay with having some misses. Losing is part of the game, and it’s how we’ll figure out what truly works to succeed.
